Perfstack metrics above 100%?

I had a site where I was observing well over 100% utilization for received percent utilization. Can someone help me understand why this would be, as far as perfstack goes? I swear I must be missing something here unless we literally are trying to shove 5x the bandwidth down our pipe vs what is available - but this should be throttled. Can someone help me understand?

I am seeing the same issue. If you dump the raw data from this it shows 200...300+ % utilization on the interface. What's up with that?

This may be totally wrong but -
you may want to check the interface bandwidth setting -
example -

The interface is a 1gig but the circuit only a 50meg -
to monitor that interface the custom bandwidth (tx/rx) should be set to 50meg.

Like i said this may be totally wrong. I hope this helps.

Agreed. It sounds like the bandwidth is set lower than what it really is thus showing higher than 100%. You can set this on the actual interface on the device or alternatively on the interface in solarwinds itself.
