An Orion map was accidentally deleted. How do I restore it?

The map was in My Dashboards > Home > Maps. A user opened a map and meant to delete an element from it. He selected "More > Edit > More > Delete". Is there a way to recover it without restoring the database? It is no longer available in the web UI anywhere that I can see.

Unfortunately it is gone and only recoverable from a backup. They would've got a warning that they are about to delete a map and that it will be removed from any widgets displaying it.

Thanks. We have nightly backups, but where should the map be restored to? Is it in the database or a file on the application or polling server?

Unfortunately I don't know. I only know of restoring the whole thing onto a test bed and grab the map you need.

Hi, It might be both in db and file.
Background maps will be stored on disk and the map config will be stored in database.

If you look in MS SQL, not SWQL, you have the tables dbo.maps_*. Yes, it's several tables. dbo.maps_projects is the main one. Other tables might have data depending on what features your map has.

In dbo.maps_assets you can see the file path to disk stored assets.
