Observability Self Hosted - Log Viewer Question

Do we need to install the SW Agent on any Windows nodes that we want to have logs sent to Orion?  Or is there another way to send the logs?  Just asking because the SW Agent is dependent on .NET and anytime we update .NET we have to reboot.

Using Syslog Forwarding (Without Agent)
If you prefer not to install the agent:

Steps:
Use Windows Event Forwarding (WEF).
Configure it to forward logs as Syslog messages to the SolarWinds server.

This method may require additional configuration and doesn’t support all log types or real-time updates as reliably as the agent.
