How to create a Report to show a count of Downs for an Application per Server

Hello,

I am in need of help on creating a Report that would show a count of Downs for an Application per Server. I have no clue what the Query would be for something like this

Basically, just a Custom Table that would look similar to:

Server Name | Count of Downs

vmserver1 | 5

vmserver2 | 3

Tom,

I can't help directly on this as we don't monitor servers, but generically this is what I do when challenged to create a report on something new.

Open up SWQL Studio [if you haven't got this then do get it installed]
Search for relevant data
When found, right click the parent item in the tree and 'Generate Select Statement'
Run
Confirm data is in results
Edit query on the right hand to only include the data you want
Then copy/paste the query into the report.

I dont have a sample query handy, but you should be able to check out the events and filter it to just app down events, and then generate a count of those entries grouped by server name. Probably can do that with the GUI report builder and no SQL/SWQL.
