Automatically set the vendor icon in "Node Details" with custom poller

Hi,

I have create a custom poller for my Huawei S-series switchs. Everything is OK except for the vendor icon.

How can I get solarwinds to recognise Huawei equipment and automatically add the vendor icon?

Before the custom poller, with the default node details poller, the icon is the right one.

Hi,

by chance, I found the problem.

Solarwinds seems to be based on the vendor name. It has to match exactly what it can return automatically:

‘HUAWEI Technology Co.,Ltd’ instead of ‘Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.’

I have been facing the same problem with Huawei devices. Values for vendor or manufacturer found on custom poller OID didn't work for vendor icon, and used fixed value "HUAWEI Technology Co.,Ltd".
