Greetings to the community,
I need a map that is as dynamic as possible, one that automatically changes the status of what we want to show.
The idea is that anyone with or without visual knowledge can broadly understand the status of the infrastructure and the communication between them. The expectation regarding maps, regardless of what they are, is that one can quickly report the status of the infrastructure and be able to act in case of an emergency. The core of this is to allow information to be gathered dynamically and efficiently.
What fields can be placed dynamically, precisely in the spirit I mentioned in the call, to avoid manual maintenance as much as possible and for information to be ingested and reacted to dynamically?
The fields or data I need or hope to appear are:
- Cluster capacity in % (CPU, RAM, storage)
- Number of VMs per VMhost
- Networking traffic for each LAN - HB - Backup - SAN path
- Number of available paths- Number of available paths - Number of VM Hosts in each cluster.
- Number of Luns
- Number of problems per cluster.
Can this be displayed on the map? I know hovering over a VM Host or cluster provides information, but the idea is to see it directly on the map.
I would appreciate any information on this. Thank you.
