VMWare - pulling VxRail Serial Number and/or Service Tag?

Greetings All.

Working in an environment where most servers run as client systems in VMWare.  VMWare uses 'VxRail' devices which I think are enclosures for server modules; the server modules then run client systems. 

For shorthand call the VxRails VXR and the modules VMH.

With SolarWinds we use VMAN and poll our VMWare systems through a vCenter server with a vCenter polling account. 

From SolarWinds I can pull the VMH device service tags into reports.  But... I cannot figure out how to pull Service Tag information for the VXR enclosures.  Logging into the VMWare console I can start from the Virtual Cluster (not Datacenter, not Host, but Cluster), navigate down to the VxRail system information, and see both the Service Tag and Dell PSNT which I think means 'Product Serial Number Tag'.   

So, the data exists in the VMWare.  I just can't figure out how to pull that data into SolarWinds.

I welcome any input from the community on how I can pull VMWare VxRail Service Tag and PSNT information into SolarWinds reports.  Also please advise if anything written here about VMWare / VxRail is not accurate.

Closing this inquiry.  

1. we were able to get the VxRail enclosure service tag numbers by modifying a VMWare ARIA report (ARIA = VMWare management system).

2.  I dug around in the VMWare API documentation and was not able to find anything that might be turned into a SolarWinds Universal Device Poller.  Our main VMWare engineer told me the VMWare API documentation is 'crummy' because it is old and poorly organized.
