How can I suppress access point alerts when the switch or wireless controller go down?

I have all the switches and WLC dependent on upstream devices. Yet, I still get alerts on every single AP when the power goes out. I don't get alerts on the parents (core switch and wireless controllers) but do on every single access point. I do not see a way to add a dependency for the access points since they are not identified as nodes.

I've seen some AP's where you can add them using SNMP separately rather than just using the WLC info. They'd also have to support CDP or LLDP probably? Wait, they probably do for PoE info. Maybe there is an advanced configuration option to allow this? Upgrading my server right now so I can't check... Feature request maybe?

While they are not nodes, can you try creating a Group Dynamic query where the object type is Wireless Access Point? I don't have access to my environment right now but, I believe a Dynamic Query can have the Object type set to Wireless Access Point.
