SWQL query to display alerts on certain nodes

Am currently using classic dashboards and want to use the custom SWQL query to display my alerts from specific nodes

How do I go about to create the custom SWQL query if my node is called xxx

Also want to try grouping my nodes based on locations and only have the SWQL query contain alerts from specific locations. How do I go about doing it?

I highly recommend downloading/importing the top downloaded modern dashboard into your system, that way you can pick and choose alert resources that work for you and add them to your own custom dashboard. Also - when you import these dashboards you'll have an excellent start towards creating the custom SWQL for other alert related resources. It's much easier than having to start from scratch with a query and it'll also give you some ideas about what other resources you could use.

There are several ways to import dashboards: 1) powershell  or just 2) swql studio

For grouping by location - I recommend a series of 3 dashboards posted back in March 2024 (Site Summary – Alert Status, Site Summary – System Status, Site Summary - Overview) Where you can drill down to your site location and then it filters the page to objects at that location.
