I had an alert working, I thought, that would trigger based on a value from the UPS that showed the number of seconds the UPS had been on battery. It is just the count of seconds. I can test this in the Universal Device Poller and at the step where you assign a poller to a device or group of devices and the value is correct. The new problem is that when I walk through the alert wizard and get to the end and choose " simulate " it tells me that the devices that would trigger the alert immediately always show up as the name of my Custom Device poller, not the name of any UPS. Sometimes I see two of these will trigger or other times just one. Giving me the name of the roller rather than the device is not helpful.
I had tech support on the call and after an hour could not figure it out.
Anyone ever run into this and have a fix?
