Date time variables needed in the email notification for availability report for the previous month. The notification email currently shows current month but we need variables in the email notification for the previous month

We currently have an Uptime and availability report for the Last Month. The report lists the time period of the previous month (May 1-31st) . The email notification, however, lists it as “June Reports”. We want the email notification to list as the Month Name for the title for the month that the report represents.
(Ie “May reports”)
What variables should we use in the email notification to have it show “May Reports”?

I was successful in getting this done but my query is not very neat, I am sure DBA should be able to able to clean this up.

Anyways, sharing the advance variable that worked for me

NOTE: Assuming you will need the month in text format.

Select DateName( month , DateAdd( month , MONTH(DATEADD(MONTH, -1, CURRENT_TIMESTAMP))  , -1 ) )
