Execute Remediation Script on this Node not working from reports

For some reason, when I click on the "Execute Remediation Script on this note" from reports, the script does not run.

I am in CLI mode and "execute Script in config mode" is checked.

IF I also check "automatically execute script when violation is found" the script runs fine and the change is pushed out.

I like to manually execute the script node-by-node for testing and verification.

What am I missing?
