Trap based alert are not Working Properly

For the TRAP Based alert either we are missing some of the notifications or receiving duplicate ones.

Also the Traps are not at the same time, some of them are not generating any notification when there is only one Trap message instead there are found to be duplicate mail notifications.

Not Sure on the behavior of trap based alerts, as we are missing out some of the important alerts even though there are traps present one at a time.

Any solutions or Suggestions.

This is probably hard to answer in forum posts, needs eyes in your environment really, would start with support and dig in with some testing while that starts to play out, maybe discuss some more specific aspects. The sort of stuff you'd want to see shouldnt be pasted on the forum really.

You might need to look into the trigger condition in the trap pocessing rule section, and the actual alerts engine, as well as trying to confirm successful receipt of the messages involved

Do you have the default built in free Log Analyser or are you paying for the "enhanced" OLA?

If the first, then this is probably expected behaviour as the free version does not have the power / capability / functionality to deal with live trap alerts on a guaranteed basis. If you are paying for OLA, then as Adam says, get a ticket raised with support.

Sadly, when SW moved away from the old standalone application they removed a lot of the functionality that was available for free and in the "all new, all dancing" replacement they ask you to pay to get some, not even all of the same functionality.
