Is there a way to create a table with specific nodes and interfaces?

I am trying to create a table that will have specific interfaces on different switches that are monitored. This would be on a custom page

IE:

Switch 1 int1/0/25 green

Switch 2 int 2/0/45 green

Switch 3 int3/0/5 red

Yes, assuming you are using the GUI custom table widget you would edit the data source set up your target object as interface and then add some OR conditions similar to
Interface fullname = Switch 1 - Eth1/0/25 OR Interface fullname = Switch 2 - Eth2/0/45 OR Interface fullname = Switch 3 - Eth3/0/5

As an alternative approach, if it was me I try not to hard code specific node and interface names into my system because it becomes an administrative chore later on to try and keep the lists up to date when I make changes. I'd go with a custom property and just tag out all the interfaces I want to include in the dashboard and make my table logic something like
Interface Category like WAN

Where Category was the name of the custom property, i like to keep it kind of open ended because eventually I usually end up having a need for lots of new categories so I want to be able to easily add to the list instead of trying to guess on day 1 every possible scenario i will ever use in the future.

thank you. I will try that option. What I did do was monitor specific interfaces like you described. Then I put a wildcard description on the interface which I used in the datasource rule.

As an example all monitored interface have a description on the switch as monitor me-xxxxxxx . So in the rule interface type = ethernet and interface alias contain monitor-me.The monitor me- is the description for the workstations with certain application which I want to know when they are down. I also had setup an alert too.
