Cisco 9800 WLC Access points not able to add them to Orion Maps

Hi All

I have a Virtual WLC 9800 that is incorporated with NPM. I need to be able to add the access points from the WLC 9800 into the Orion Maps like what we used to be able to do with Orion Atlas but now with Atlas moving away I need to add them to the new network map layout for each section to show where the AP is connected. I am doing snmpv3 to the WLC. I can see the AP's on the Wireless Summary View but cannot see them when I want to add them via Orion Maps. Only the physical Interfaces. Would I need to build a custom poller and what would I need to use to do that as I tried the MIB details for the AP's. It shows there but then reflects as red when trying to build the custom poller.

We don't have that model, but it's a two step tango to add APs to an Orion Map.

Step one is to find your WLC and then hover over it where you will see three dots appear:

Step two is to click on 'Show Related Entities' and it will then display all the APs associated to that WLC.

Then just drag and drop as with any other node.

It does not show the AP's under the controller node when selected. Only physical interfaces or anything being monitored but not reflective of the AP's. Our Physical 8500 Series works fine for monitoring and selecting AP's but with the virtual 9800 WLC it only shows the controller.
