Trouble communicating with agent in DMZ

Currently we are unable to communicate with two servers in our DMZ using the SolarWinds Agents. Other servers in the DMZ are communicating properly. Ping is disabled for all servers in the DMZ. Locally installed the agent on the server in the DMZ, it is configured to use Orion Server Initial Communication on Port 17790. After the agent is configured the message ‘Provision Passive Agent: port [17790]’ is displayed. Unfortunately I am unable to reach this from the SolarWinds UI (not on the DMZ). The server is present in the UI but cannot connect to the agent. This had worked in the past and the same configuration is working for other servers. Any ideas?

If it was working in the past I would first restart the agent on the DMZ server. If still not responding from the polling engine make sure the poller can reach the DMZ server. Test with PowerShell to verify that the port is responding. (Test-NetConnection -computername IPADDESSOFDMZServer -port 17790) If that is not successful try redoing the config of the agent on the DMZ server to have it re-register. If it is still blocked you may want to try wireshark and see if the packets are getting a response.
