Can't create new Client accounts after 12.8 upgrade

After the 12.8 upgrade, unable to create new client accounts. Validated this in 2 different environments. Captured logs and a support ticket is open.

It would be great to get through a single release that is supposed to fix and existing problem without it breaking some core functionality.......

Due to forcing Complex passwords now!

I get that as a separate pre-submission error. This is after meeting those requirements the account fails to be created and you get the generic unhandled exception error and lose your session.

Captured this in the debug log:

Exception in 'performParentAction(saveChanges)'. Parent: '<com.macsdesign.whd.ui.ClientDetails name: com.macsdesign.whd.ui.ClientDetails subcomponents:

.....

One of the following errors may have occurred:
1. The parent does not have a method named 'saveChanges'.
2. An error occurred while executing the method 'saveChanges'.
Please, read the following logs carefully and advise.

Support told me aware and targeted to be fixed in the upcoming 12.8.1 release. I only get your error when selecting "E-mail Client with password reset link", if I used "Type in new password" with a complex password it worked. A separate issue I had was if using SSO you get neither of these input options so it again fails.

Interestingly enough, in a separate pretty much out of the box environment, this works:

Fill out required fields

Include complex password

Do not set any locations, company, etc.

This doesn't:

Fill out required fields

Include complex password

Set location OR company

Fill out required fields

Email password

Do not set any locations, company, etc.
