I am wondering if there is a way to connect Web Help Desk with an API that will allow techs to start and stop time as they are working on a job. I'd like it to automatically keep track of times based on starting a clock at the beginning of the job and stopping the clock when they are done for that time period. This way the time could be entered in to the ticket automatically and notes can be added thereafter. I'm not a pro with API's, I have just used some easy peezy interfaces like Zapier to help me. Has anyone figured out how to do this?
I inquired about this possibility of this feature with Solar Winds, and they didn't seem to be able to offer this.
Note: I am using a hosted web-based system.
