Hello, I have NTA 4.2 stored on an Orion server up in Azure which monitors my local environment over a VPN connection. Firewall rules for VPN between the management and Azure monitoring network are any/any allowed. For NTA, I have the database running locally, not in Azure. I can't for the life of me get any of my network…
On my home screen I see my one router is pushing 357M through the G1/8 interface but when I click on that interface I am only seeing 300k worth or traffic. Why arent these two screens in-sync?
I was wondering if there was any way to find the % change in the receive and send data of the "Top Conversations" resource from the previous day. Has anyone created a report to see this information?
Does anyone know this message means? I got it from Settings->NTA->Database Size:->Calculate tool. Copy/paste is below. I was checking to see how many days of space that I had remaining. Current size: 131.9 GB Projected size: Based on the current database size and retention period Retention period is full, see the current…
NTA apparently keeps track of unresolved NetFlow addresses but their does not appear to be a way to associate them with human readable addresses.
Hello. We use SolarWinds NTA and cisco 2921. Netflow enable on several interfaces (LAN, tunnel, WAN). Cisco Netflow configuration is: ip flow-cache timeout active 1 ip flow-cache timeout inactive 15 ip flow-export source Port-channel1.100 ip flow-export version 5 ip flow-export destination 10.10.10.225 2055 Our WAN…
I export netflow v9 to Orion nta with nProbe. But I can't see ndpi result on it. How to resolve that???
I have been trying to figure out if there is a way to generate a report on the TCP Flags fields passed from NetFlow v9 to NTA and have not been able to find it. I see in several places where Solarwinds recommends configurations where the tcp flags are exported in the flow record with the collect transport tcp flags command…
We are gathering netflow data from a couple of our routers. However, we are finding that the netflow graphs seem messed up. We have a limit on the WAN interface on 30mbit (due to carrier restrictions). But, we frequently see this spikes with traffic on the last hour graphs. However, if we zoom out to last 24 hours, the…
So there is an ASA firewall that is sending netflow traffic to my Orion server. I can see 2 packets arrive (with Wireshark) from the expected source every 5 minutes. However, the device is not in the list. If I delete the ICMP only configured device from Orion, I quickly get the message that there is NetFlow from an…
