I'm looking to begin planning on the update to NTA 4.4. I have over 1100 interfaces reporting in to Netflow, averaging a total of about 6700 flows per second into the NTA server. Can anyone here with a similar size explain the service differences noted after the update? I would definitely like to see some evidence of the…
Hi, We've used NTA for some time and it has often highlighted bandwidth hogs etc. what I've noticed though is that it never shows any information for egress traffic only ingress, can someone point out why? It always seems to show us the culprit under ingress but anytime I've ever looked under egress out of curiosity is…
(Exploring solarwinds) Just curious to know if we can use a PCAP file in solarwinds?. The theme is to get the total sum of bandwidth and list of lisitening ports. So can we work on that with solarwinds?.
Hello Everyone!!! I'm new in Solarwinds and NTA, I have provided a project to customize the NTA dashboard to get overall inbound/outbound information through Firewall. I'm prepping to upgrade my production environment to the latest releases (NTA 4.4+), but I need a solution to allow access to the current NTA database (4.2.1). I have a test environment with NTA 4.2.3 installed and was hoping that I could point it to my existing NTA database for access. Has anyone tried this before? Would…

One in particular is Cisco ASA 5525-X running 9.8(2)35 we have match DSCP and list out EF traffic in config, We can see the markings…

What is the difference between unmonitored and unmanaged. After reviewing some events, I noticed the following: * NetFlow Receiver Service is receiving NetFlow data from an unmonitored interface. * NetFlow Receiver Service is receiving NetFlow data from an unmanaged interface. Thanks in advance, Frank
Over the last couple of days, we have seen a WAN link get saturated and NPM is showing 95-100% utilization as expected. When I look at the conversations resource to view what is causing the traffic, the statistics don't match up. Here is the Netflow configuration. I have also attached the screenshots of the interface…
