I might be over thinking it but I can't design a simple report to go out every morning that only lists devices with a Ping status of not OK... so just a list of every PING monitor across all devices that are NOT green. Maybe unrelated but even if I try the stock/built-in "Ping Availability Group Report" all of the…
Is the ability to run reports for specific schedules, such as business hours only, even on the road map? Duplicating monitors and creating confusing maintenance schedules is not an option. Creating a quarterly report and having to add each day individually into that report is also not an option. Management wants to know…
Title says it all. I want to have reports reflect the monitor name, but they seem to be reflecting the SNMP interface name. How can I change this? Is there a mass edit property, or is it somewhere in configuration?
Hi all, I've created a FILE monitor that checks for the existence of keywords "error" or "warning" in a text logfile generated by a RAID array. As it stands, the monitor successfully detects those keywords and generates a single notification. Unfortunately, that's all it does - it sends one notification and the status of…
I'm pretty sure I know why, but lately all of the new monitors we put in are taking between 4-10 minutes to initialize on the first go around. We are running with about 6000 monitors on both instances of IPMon. I understand this is over the recommended limit, but we went over the limit a while ago and only recently it…
Hello, Currently I'm implementing ipMonitor in our network and I'm facing a problem. I've added network devices and ipMonitor added the Cisco devices in ipmonitor. What I want to create a network diagram with all bandwidth statistics of the uplinks. When I'm on the uplink monitor page I've check the box saying "Store…
I'm using ipMonitor 10.6, Build 1567. I'd like to make a NOC view of certain monitors from different devices, so I can see whats really important to me from around my network all in one place, at one time. I'm not seeing somewhere/someway I can do this. Can anyone help out?
I'm wondering if ipMonitor is able to be setup so that monitors can take basic initial steps should a monitor go into a failure/down status? For example, if I setup a monitor to monitor a service can ipMon be set to try to restart the service before an email is sent? Of if a disc drive goes past it's threshold can the…
Heya! So I love the new AD integration for logging in, but there's a bit of an issue. Any accounts starting with a ! won't let you create the account. We have admin accounts that utilize !userID in our domain. 10.6 won't allow us to add those. Is there a workaround for this?
Is there a way to enable historical statistics on ALL monitors at one time so I can generate reports? Thanks.
