In the Orion Manage Alerts, I have turned off the standard Datastore High Latency alert since all of our datastores have the issue due to slow HDD. However, with this alert turned off, it still seems to be triggering the alert "Node is in a critical or warning state". How can I prevent the latency issue from triggering…
I have a couple HPE DL380 servers that have non-HPE memory modules. The servers work fine, but this causes a 'degraded' status in the health management system on the server. SolarWinds of course picks this up. Is it possible to acknowledge/clear this error on the server itself, so it doesn't show up in SW? I've marked the…
How to add memory utilization and CLI in top 10 process alert
Anyone have a SWQL that will let me query my AlertConfigurations and see the associated trigger actions (and the actions properties?)
Greetings to the community, I would need to know how to use an alert in the triggered condition scope to inform the agents with connection status unable to connect, and if a problem with the agent's connection is detected, notify us and set the node as “Unmanaged”
When the Aruba API goes down, I get tons of emails that all Access Points are offline: I can't figure out what I need to add here, so if apigw-eu.. etc stops responding, don't email me about all the APs being down: would appreciate any tips or tricks
Following the training video on defining alerts, I created a custom property for "system_owner" to govern who gets alerts when a node goes critical. This approach works great for specific nodes or devices. Is there a similar way to assign ownership to an application or component within a node? I want to send all alerts…
Alerts are populating and when acknowledging you have the option to put a note in the popup. Can it be required to put anything in the note popup before you are allowed to acknowledge the alert? I don't see an option in the "Manage Alerts" section I don't see an option in the "More" section in "All Active Alerts"
I have a question/concern about navigating through the Orion alerts. I'm probably missing something vary obvious, but I can't see it. I have a number of nodes (generally VM's) and a couple of groups (related to esxi hosts) that show as "critical". However, when I drill down to the nodes themselves, there is nothing that…
I have a number of Windows VM's hosted in VMWare that are being alerted as "VM - No heartbeat" although the agent is installed and reporting in as expected. What could be causing the no heartbeat alert? Thanks, Joe
