DDN storage is attached to my server. I upgraded my OS from server 2008 to 2012r2. In win server 2012 r2 the DDN storage is not showing. All the drivers (fiber channel) and other drivers are installed. there is no documentation which can help. I also tried to downgrade the OS to win server 2008 still the DDN storage is not…
What does In Service mean on the Ethernet Port under Hardware Health of the IBM storage? All of our IBM storage nodes appear to have the Ethernet Ports "In Service" warning state.
Hi, Is support for the IBM Storewize family of arrays in the pipeline? We can trick S/W into treating ours as SVC which gives us 90% of what we need but it overlooks that fact that the V7000s have local disk so we can't report on those or RAW storage of the array. We also use V7000 unified which would be great to report…
We recently noticed our SRM was only connecting to 1 of 2 Isilons. One was green, one grey. Both clusters are configured identically, same code @ 8.0.0.6. We could reconfigure the disconnected Isi using SNMPv2 and admin creds and SRM would test the connection, all green. Go to discover and it would break saying "no array…
I have created a report from data in SRM using a Custom SQL Query and I want to add the node link to the names of the Storage Arrays in the report; however, I am receiving the following error when attempting to do so: NAME - 'Details Page Link' data presenter requires 'db|DetailsUrl' field(s) to be present within the…
After a month of troubleshooting and configuring, I have confirmed that Solarwinds SRM 6.6 does not support the EMC VNX1 Series arrays (VNX5300, 5500) for File / NAS. SRM needs NAS gateway (VNX control station) to be running code version 8.1 or higher and VNX1 has never had file code over 7.1.83 and there are no plans for…
It looks like our Isilon devices have stopped polling on both SRM (6.3 w/HF2) and SRM Profiler (6.2.3) following an upgrade from 7.2.1.2 to 8.0.0.4. They said nothing changed on their end so I'm wondering if there is anything that I need to change on the Solarwinds side.
So we have stood up an EMC Isilon - SAN admin set me up with the API user name and password - test connection worked and discovery kicked off and eventually failed with - Storage Resource Monitor is able to connect to the device but no compatible arrays were found any tricks or tips here - especially since I dont have…
We upgraded Isilon to OneFS-version 8.0.0.6. Now Solarwinds SRM shows following error: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. Storage Arrays: We were able to connect to the device, but no compatible arrays were found. Can anybody help? Thank you
We have Nexenta Storage that I'd also like to add to the Storage Manager, is there a way to do this?
