SRM 6.6 does not support File on EMC VNX1 Series Arrays...ONLY VNX2

After a month of troubleshooting and configuring, I have confirmed that Solarwinds SRM 6.6 does not support the EMC VNX1 Series arrays (VNX5300, 5500) for File / NAS.

SRM needs NAS gateway (VNX control station) to be running code version 8.1 or higher and VNX1 has never had file code over 7.1.83 and there are no plans for it.

So... if you have any EMC VNX1 Series arrays you CANNOT use SRM to monitor File/NAS....only Block (with an external SMI-S collector of course).

Have a nice expensive platform that can only do half of what it was purchased for now.
