Bulk update option for settings in Pingdom. This is applied to both Uptime and Transaction checks. This will help in updating multiple websites in one go as it would be time-consuming to update each site.
Support for Shadow DOM in both the script and recorder for Pingdom Transaction Check is required. Currently, we are blocked and unable to monitor through Transaction Check. Due to a recent change in our product, we can no longer monitor it via Transaction Check because of the Shadow DOM.
Would like to see investment made on the further development of the Public Status Page:1. Allow for multiple public status pages (where specific monitors can be assigned to specific pages), not just the current single page offered now.2. Allow for the further customization of Public Status Page (such as grouping by tags)3.…
When creating a scheduled maintenance window, there's nothing in the UI that says the time zone that Pingdom is configured for, and there's no ability to select the time zone for creating the scheduled maintenance. For companies that have multiple locations and multiple admins, getting this right is key and it's too easy…
On Uptime tests if you view the details you can potentially see the location of what probe server the test might have passed or failed on. It would be helpful if we could see the same data on transactional tests. Uptime tests also have result log as seen in the photo below.
On DNS monitoring, it should be allowed to add multiple expected IP response addresses for avoiding fault alerts.
Description: Retry count - number of checks to run on consecutive failures of which an alert will be sent. If retry count is 3, 3 checks should fail consecutively before sending an alert. Need: Currently we are receiving alerts if a uptime check fails even once. This usually is network issues or intermittent connectivity…
Hello, After a discussion around an issue raised with this ticket number #01795528, we understood that Shadow DOM elements are not supported by Pingdom's transactions check. Is it possible to add support for this? Shadow DOM elements https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Web_components/Using_shadow_DOM Thanks,…
I have discovered (through experimentation, since I can't find any documentation about this) that a semicolon ";" is not an allowed character in header values for uptime checks. This is very surprising, since ";" is used in the several standard headers including Cookie, Cache-Control, Content-Type, Accept, etc. For the…
We want to monitor our internal internet and make sure traffic can get out. We are looking to have a check that just listens for a PING from our eternal sever sending out to the Pingdom check like every 15 minutes. We do not want Pingdom to send an incoming PING to us first because we don’t want to open up a hole in our…
