Is there data collected by NTA as to how much of the actual NetFlow protocol it is receiving and from where? I'm trying to determine capacity needed for the interfaces sending the Netflow from a new network device.
What are the minimum privileges required for the Service account used by the SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) ? Thank you.
Has anyone been able to get Prisma SD-WAN to send flow data to NTA? This worked at one time for us, but we ended up moving our flow data to LiveNX. We aren't renewing LiveNX, and I was going to revisit NTA for flow storage. The majority of my SD-WAN is running 6.4.1-b7 and we are in the process of upgrading to 6.5.1.
Is it possible in NTA to get a quarterly report showing how much data has passed through an enterprise MPLS network per VRF? Assume there are at least 80 VRFs. We want to be able to see how many gigabytes a specific VRF (customer) has used, and then generate output/reporting from that. So the requirement is simply: how…
Currently, one has to have full admin permission to create new IP Address Groups. I do not want to give staff full admin rights but I do want them to create and maintain IP address groups. I would like Solarwinds to fix this.
Windows Server does not have built-in NetFlow configuration capabilities by default. NetFlow is a network protocol developed by Cisco, and its configuration is typically done on network devices like routers and switches from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Hewlett-Packard. To achieve NetFlow monitoring for traffic…
in which situation do I need use dedicated FSDB? I see in the NTA document, solarwinds recommend to use the same DB as Orion SQL DB.
I have a request to use NTA to monitor a nightly SFTP job that runs at 4am and typically transfers ~60M of data. The desired outcome of the alert would be to notify if that job didn't produce a minimal flow of data during that 4am window. When I navigate to the actual SFTP conversation in NTA and hit "Create a flow alert"…

Dear Folks, I would like to know the unit used to represent data in SolarWinds NTA. Specifically, in the NTA interface, the unit for packets is shown as 'M'. Could you please confirm whether this 'M' refers to the number of packets in millions or the size in megabits (Mb)? Cheers.
