It would be useful and have the capability to import/sync IPAM configured IP Network Subnets/IP Ranges with NetFlow IP Groups.
It would nice to see some improvements in maintaining the IP address groups within NTA. Potentially either being able to carry over IPAM networks or maybe providing the ability to import subnets.
NTA is not able to process flows from the VMware vSwitch because the interfaces on the vSwitch cannot be managed by NPM. Until NPM can add management of these interfaces, we are looking at allowing NTA to accept these flows from the un-manageable interface. Thwack requests for monitoring vSwitch and VDS…
NTA has come a long way ever since it moved away from the FastBit database to the MS Sql Database. Also, the Flow Navigator now permits us to configure alerts based on multiple flow conditions We now have the ability to create filters to view specific flows but not really save the filter for future use. It would be great…
I have created IP Address Groups in NTA to categorize our web sites by cost centre. I would like to determine how much of our total bandwidth is used by IP Address Group. Currently the NetFlow report can only produce the total ingress and egress bytes instead of Mbps. Is there a way to generate a NTA IP Address Group…
I would like to see the ability to report bandwidth usage by the user account when connected via VPN. When a user connects via VPN and browses the internet this traffic is not reported as being sourced from the VPN IP that the user was assigned, but by the firewalls outside interface IP. This makes it impossible to know…
Hello, The older Netflow record name for the Cisco 5508 and 2504 WLCs is "ipv4_client_app_flow_record". But with the new WLC platforms and starting at 8.5.x, there is a new Netflow Record name. The Record name is "ipv4_client_src_dst_flow_record". So far, I see it on the two new WLCs of 5520 and 3504. The new Netflow…
I'd like an option to set up flow navigator filters on a page, IE: application X or conversation Y, and turn that into a standard Orion report. Similar to how we have save to toolbar, but for getting the data we want out. It'd consolidate the UI a bit. That makes this fit better for external viewing and means I can only…
Ability to schedule global Power On and Power Off VM's
It is imperative to have not only source and destination IP address but also source and destination port. Netflow reports both. For some reason NTA stores one value as 'random high port' regardless of whether it is or it isn't. This makes the data meaningless if I am looking for patterns in the traffic, possible odd…
