Support for receiving flows from VMware vSwitch

NTA is not able to process flows from the VMware vSwitch because the interfaces on the vSwitch cannot be managed by NPM. Until NPM can add management of these interfaces, we are looking at allowing NTA to accept these flows from the un-manageable interface.

This would be HUGE!!! 70% of our servers are VM and the ability to see flows between the VM's would be huge. Big gap in our visibility. Could you pull it from the Nexxus 1000 switch if its there?

In addition VMWare is adding new switches called NSX vSwitches which will be part of the new NSX switch virtualization... so hopefully get ready to support them as well NTA/NPM!

Is the NSX deployed in your env't, ecklerwr1? Any ETA?

Others, how rapidly do you see the need for managing flows (but also performance, config, firewalling...) in an NSX env't, with Orion?
