We would like to have Netflow v10 monitoring support in Netflow traffic analyzer module in Solarwinds. Some devices including Velocloud SD WAN boxes are sending the netflow v10 packets.
Be able to see how much NetFlow data each collector is receiving. You can do this with perfom counters but, I would expect this to be something in the NTA summary view. I have load balanced collectors and it's not always easy to identify when one collector is out of balance with the other.
There should be a chart somewhere within the tool that shows the number of incoming flows per second for each poller. I suggest that Solarwinds pars out the app-id information that can already be included in paloalto netflow data. This would allow application identification that is similar to cisco NBAR. Such an omission is critical enough to us that we are planning on looking at new companies to parse our netflow data.
I'd like to see three things. 1: Stacking IP groups. If I have an IP group that is a a /16 I want to be able to put a /20 within it and have them stack. 2: When adding IP groups to Orion, I'd like to be able to enter CIDR. Example: O365 and Skype ranges.
