I have NPM and IPAM integrated however, I have the same custom properties created on the individual nodes/interfaces (for alerting) and also on the subnet/IP information for IP tracking. It gets tedious to upkeep the same custom properties in two different places. I'd like to see the same list of custom properties exist in…
Currently we are using custom fields to specify site address information at the folder/group level as well as subnet. It would be useful if there was an option to allow a child item (subnet within a folder) inherit certain properties from its parent, reducing the need to duplicate it manually.
I opened case number 496170 for this problem: How can I set the scanning to enable, but not to overwrite the hostname? The problem occurs when the IP address is not configured in DNS (Reverse lookup - PTR). We do not have DHCP or DNS integrated into IPAM, so when the scanner can't find the reverse DNS for the IP, it…
We are having troubles connecting to our router from our pc's.
In term of a security point of view, this is often a problem to scan through ICMP and SNMP. It would be good to be able to scan through specific TCP ports, for specific subnets/IPs. Some other tools allow that like Netbox with nmap. https://github.com/lopes/netbox-scanner
The "global scan time" setting (in system settings: "Scan interval") appears to only take effect when creating new subnets, not existing ones. The only way to "change them all" appears to be to go into the database and hand edit/select fields in multiple tables. While a its nice to have a 'workaround", this really should…
There appears to be no configuration to be able to make the system "do more scans/jobs at once", and the app/scan engine appears to be single threaded so adding more CPU's to the OS does not appear allow it to process more. I'm aware there has been some design changes to "make it scan at the optimum speed" but being able…
Hello Dev Team, I have multiple clients that are using VMWare's Velocloud Edges for their WAN. Each Edge is running a DHCP server. I would like to be able to manage all of the Edge DHCP servers in IPAM. Thank you, Yosef
Currently in IPAM "Manage Subnets & IP Addresses", when you create a "hide" role, the users can still view all levels of groups. Only the supernets and subnets are hidden. This is not desirable. Hidden groups should be invisible.
Imported subnets should automatically populate under the supernet that they would belong to based on thier CIDR. So its awesome that all my subnets are in IPAM from my route tables.... But now I have to organize it all. I would like to see an imported subnet automatically be assigned to its supernet CIDR.
