Recently people at our site have had a problem using Chrome and WHD. After they login, everything is fine. If the session goes idle and they come back, there is a login prompt - no big deal. The problem starts when the try to log back in. They get a message "Your session has expired. Please log in again." When they attempt to re-login, they just see the same message. To login, they must close chrome all the way. This is not very practical all the time.

I have seen that happen for awhile now, but (at least on the Mac) attempting to log in a 2nd time has succeeded.

I've tried several times and no joy. I've also tried logging in as another user. Also no joy.

We are having this same problem. We have session timeout enabled per security and when some users timeout, they cannot log back in and need to close their entire browser to get the smartcard prompt to pop up again for log on.

Can you set the "Disable Session Timeout" from Settings>Manage Accounts>Edit account or group.

I also have the same problem, except that closing and reopening the browser does not work. If I use another browser or incognito window, all is fine, but using Chrome logged into my Gmail account does not work. I've tried deleting the saved passwords, clearing cookies and reloading, still has the same results. This also only happens on port 80, on port 443 all works fine.

So the solution that I found to this is to reset the Chrome browser settings:
After doing that, I've been able to log in without issues. Will see how long it lasts. Still no idea what caused the problem in the first place.

I've had this happen and all I've needed to do is refresh the page to log in again. I haven't had to close completely.
