SOLARWINDS SQL SERVER QUESTION AND REQUIREMENT / COMPATIBILITY?

I want to make my main Orion server (MPE) a Windows Server 2016. I am separating my databases, Orion DB and NTA DB.  Does it matter if i have the DB servers windows server 2016 or Windows 2019? I would prefer 2019. I assume they just need to be in a compatible SQL 2017, but im not sure of the OS?
