Anyone in the Birmingham, AL Area or Google Plus person

Would anyone in the Birmingham area be interested in meeting monthly to discuss Orion issues, solutions, etc...sorta like a face to face Thwack Community

Or would anyone be interested in Doing monthly or quarterly Google Hangout to discuss Orion Face to Face or Web Cam to Web Cam.

I think it would be interesting to put faces and voices to the Thwack ID's and to share the joys and pains of being System Admins.

If the subject matter was engaging enough, I think it'd be really cool - I'm a long, long way from Birmingham, but I can do a hangout anytime.

Perhaps a rough focus subject or area for monthly stuff might help lend some sharpness and direction to the meetings as well.

A face to face meet would be great! I'd need it to be on like a Fri/Sat though and preferably towards the end of Q3 beginning of Q4. I'm not currently running Orion like you cool dudes are though. My budget calls for duct tape and I'm constantly surprised that I'm not required to braid my own Cat5 (I would say Cat6, but we don't have the budget for that either).

I worked for a company that used Orion, but the only IT departments I've been in charge of have been for small companies with little or no IT budget. I'm not really an expert at anything either... but very well rounded I would say. (Edited for Clarification... I did not run an Orion shop, I simply worked with it)

I would be interested in a Google Hangout style setup as well as I'm in Minnesota. I like the idea of doing something like VMware's VMUG setup but remotely.
