Get ready to unleash the ultimate showdown of furry, feathered, and even fantastical companions this month on THWACK! Our annual bracket battle is back, and this year, we’re giving homage to the most Legendary Pet Pals from movies, TV shows, and beyond.
From animated icons to live-action legends, these unforgettable pets have stolen scenes and hearts alike. But only one can claim the title of the greatest pet pal of all time. Will it be a loyal canine sidekick? A mischievous feline friend? Or perhaps a mystical creature that redefines companionship? That decision lies solely in your hands!
How It Works
Choose between two legendary pets in each matchup and decide which companion deserves the title. We've gathered 32 of the most beloved pet pals from across decades of entertainment, ensuring a fair and nostalgic competition. YOU, the community, will determine which pet reigns supreme and which ones take a trip to the kennel of defeat.
Voting in each matchup starts at 8 a.m. CT on the opening date and closes at 4:00 p.m. CT on the closing date.
Schedule
- Round of 32: 3/3 – 3/10
- Round of 16: 3/11 – 3/17
- Quarterfinals: 3/18 – 3/20
- Semi-Finals: 3/21 – 3/25
- Finals: 3/26 – 3/28
Points
For each vote you cast, you’ll earn 150 THWACK® points. That’s right – you could rack up to 4,800 THWACK points just by participating! Points will be tallied and awarded within five business days of the winner being announced on March 28, 2025.
