This is probably my biggest issue with WHD right now. We have numerous types of tickets that have multiple tasks - each going to an seperate tech. For example a request for a new user setup requires: 1 - new computer setup, 2 - user account / permissions setup 3 - VoIP phone / VM setup, 4- new cell phone, 5 - building…

Andy - Thanks for the links, now I have something to read over the weekend ;-) For starters, with the IEEE dot 11 support being vacant does that basically mean that's it... no luck or is it possible there are other MIBs that might have the information where I would have to use the Universal Device Poller and if that did…

That helps a lot, but I'm afraid I'm not liking what I see. The first image looks good, but the second image that says "unsupported OID" has me worried. Does this mean I'm out of luck for wireless or is there still a possiblity some other MIB does the trick? Also, it looks like I need to check out that book you mentioned…

My problem is I can't find out how to get to that particular page. I'm really think I'm going blind.

I have tried some of the troubleshooting steps, but I'm still somewhat new to some aspects of SNMP so if someone could point me in the right direction for more info I would appreciate it: * Check the SNMP Access settings of the 5131 via the device management interface to make sure the Orion machine (or subnet) has access…

Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Configuration and Auto-Discovery > Configuration Wizard, check Website, and then click Configuring Automatic Login 291 through the Configuration Wizard to enable IIS NT security for Windows Pass-through Security. I'm using…

Stoned, That was the perfect answer. I was thinking I missed something in the setup that would allow me to setup accounts and NOT require the password so AD passthrough would work. I tried your tip and just changed the password afterward to empty and it worked! Thanks, Bill

I'm glad to see this is on the roadmap, but I'll go ahead and add my voice requesting this feature.

I wanted to see if anyone every had any luck with Symbol 5131 Wireless Access Points. I am using Orion 9.5 SP2 and I have entered a few of our 5131 APs into Orion and also I'm only getting basic node info, but NO wireless information (it doesn't show up in wireless at all). Thanks, Bill (Stilgar)

I am in the middle of a Riverbed implementation as well. I think this thread answered my question of whether I need to monitor both LAN and WAN interfaces. However, I just wanted to know what would happen if you monitored both interfaces? Will Orion be able to tell that comes from the same device and give me correct…
