  • Say you are monitoring a network interface or volume on these devices. How about you set an alert that will trigger when the interface/volume switches to the "unknown" state - which will happen when you lose SNMP access to the device. Vaibhav

  • Hi, Another question along similar lines. Do we need Task Scheduler and SQL Server Agent running on the Orion NPM Server at all? Or does Orion NPM have its own scheduling engine. I don't see any jobs in either Scheduled Tasks or within SQL but just need a confirmation so I could decide whether to keep these services…

  • Simply install the Web Certificate and assign it desired port for ssl (443 by default). I experienced intermittent problems after I SSL enabled my Website which was resolved after I re-ran the Configuration Wizard. Vaibhav
