Hi @"dilbert1234" Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will have this updated to correctly reflect the case numbers. The root cause of the problem was identified in OO-7485 and is described in the release notes as "The issue where JobEngine was unable to submit a job which resulted in polling issues was addressed."
-
Let's see where to start.. what products are you using? and what polling methods are you using for these VMs?
-
CUrrent plans could see this removed in the 2nd half of next year. DO you have any concerns with a specific timeline or challenges moving to the new port?
-
Did the folder permissions require a change? Have you upgraded recently?
-
I had used this extension way back before we had NOC view mode https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/revolver-tabs/dlknooajieciikpedpldejhhijacnbda
-
If you can check the folder permissions you may need to amend the permissions of “SolarWinds Orion Application Pool” account for C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Orion - add the right to Read, Write and Modify
-
There are no plans to have classic and modern dashboards co-exist as they are completely independent UI stacks. What additional capabilities would you need to see in Modern Dashboards to be able to get exactly what you need?
-
I can confirm this is a known issue seen in some larger environments. It is tracked internally under OO-19959 and will be fixed in the 2023.3 release.
-
Could you check the permissions for C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\Orion?
-
No changes have been made to Network Atlas. It has not been removed.
-
And was this a new install or upgrade? Do you now the filename?
-
Do you happen to know the filename of the installer/iso you used? If this was a net-new installation and not an upgrade and you installed using something like Solarwinds-NPM-2023.1.0-OfflineInstaller.iso only an NPM license would be activated after installation.
-
Sorry to hear that, what is your case number? Does your license manager show the licenses you would expect to see?
-
So this script will be assigned to multiple nodes I guess? If so you will need to have the Node IP passed to the script as an argument. See here for a good explanation of how to choose variables and assign then to…
-
Hello, Can you post the full script?
-
Although I am happy to hear that the issue is resolved, the experience was not as I would have expected. I have asked our engineering teams to determine if there is anything in the logs to indicate a possible root cause. At the moment this is the only occurrence of this behavior with over 1100 installations of 2023.1
-
Can you share any other details, regions used / data base type, or any error logs? I will have the engineering team verify but from my initial test, everything was completed within about 20 minutes.
-
Can you share the case number? From what I am reading this is the correct behavior. What licenses did you have available prior to the upgrade? What other menu bars are you expecting to see when NPM is the only active license?
-
Thanks for reporting, we are aware and looking into it at the moment.

* If false, then SWIS interprets the remanage time in the normal way. * If true, then SWIS ignores the date portion of the remanage time and uses the time portion as the duration of the unmanage period. Does that describe the behaviour you are seeing?
-
Looking at this now, what is the result with false for the final parameter?
-
In general terms, an alert can be described as selecting a value from a table, such as where the node Status is Down. In this example, it is very simplistic as the node will have a single status at any given moment in time. This is the same for CPU load alerts There is a single value for CPULoad in Orion.Nodes, however,…
-
I think I understand that you want to copy the values for these 3 menu items from one user to another is that correct?
-
__author__ = "Tony Johnson" import requests from orionsdk import SwisClient # requests.packages.urllib3.disable_warnings() server = "" username = "" password = "" type = "SolarWinds.Orion.Core.SharedCredentials.Credentials.UsernamePasswordCredential" owner = "Orion" configuration = { "Name": "Credential", "Description":…
-
It is not possible to add input fields to any widgets in modern dashboards.
-
Do you see these in SWQL studio? Orion.Credential.CreateCredentials Allows to create a credential set of a given type, provided that the configuration is recognized. Requires the following fields: * type - type of the desired credentials set to be created; must be defined in a particular form (see below) * properties -…
-
Unfortunately, there is currently no support for OR operators. What kind of widgets are you using, do you have any other use cases for filtering in this way?
-
This has been added to the backlog for 2023.2 release.
-
Can you share the case number with me?
-
Thank you for sharing this, I am sorry to see that it is not working as expected. I have opened a bug to resolve and it is being tracked under OO-15067
