Denny, Thank you for the reply. I'm not exactly versed in SQL here, could you post an example script? Also, are there plans to add this functionality to SolarWinds? This is a pretty common feature of most network monitoring solutions. Thanks, Tom McNicholas

This helps for sure. I'm looking at the criteria I can use to determine whether or not to page. I could swear all traps are sent as three types, informational, warning, and critical. I could set my filter to be specific on what OID it starts with, but can I not get it to read the type of trap it is? Tom

so for every server requiring a maintenance window i'm going to need a custom alert setup? and if it reboots twice a day we need two more alerts? yuck tom

I do not believe it does, I asked this question maybe a week ago. They will tell you to unmanage the device, but never give any way to schedule this. Big giant glaring hole in the product, if you ask me.
