Just completed it. How do I submit for points? It didn't ask me for my Thwack name.

I monitor the Windows Services related to BOBJ, for starters. I also monitor the webpages and the available ports. How are you trying to monitor BOBJ?
-
Please le us all know when you have a resolution. I am very curious to see what the outcome will be.

Gawd!!!!!! I would love this! I am just not smart enough. I would have to defer to my expert mikesky to whip up a masterful creation.

Could this be a rare example of admin of having a real close attention to detail? :-)

1. Yes, we use dependencies. We have a handful of dependencies in place between servers but no applications. The majority of our dependencies are setup on our routers.

In the past 7 months I have put 40k to my tally. But then again I have lost contact with my wife and kids and I am about to get fired... but it is totally worth it! :-)

if it wasn't for my meddling kids I would have my points and be closer to this goal. Durn family getting in the way. And BTW, congrats to you all.

I won't bore you with the sordid details but during the first 5 years we ripped out a lot of IT, and installed a lot MORE IT in its place. As a result we've made…

Remember folks!!! Ratings and User Reviews for SolarWinds Swag
-
Thanks josh.haberman I appreciate the "Shout Out!" The reasoning behind my idea was to get feedback on some of the swag ahead of buying it. I see soooo many questions being asked about them. So I figured here's a chance to whittle those down some. Also, some of those Amazon reviews are hilariously written so here's an…

Oddly enough, when I was sitting on Santa's lap a few weeks ago I asked for the very same thing. He said he would get back to me. I gave him @jhynds name as a POC. So get ready for a call @jhynds. You'll want to stay off the naughty list.

* Multi task? * Catch up various YouTube subscriptions with a steady balance of entertainment and industry vids? * Watch a SolarWinds training video on Network Atlas design and presentation?

Wait a second... You mean customers could crash the ThwackCamp party sans invite???

I have found that if you list the subnets out separately you will get a better result. Example: 10.10.0.0 - 10.10.0.255 For me this works better than: 10.10.0.0 - 10.10.255.255 I have setup scans using both means and the latter would miss too many nodes.
-
Interesting. I poked around my installation which is running most current version and I cannot replicate. What version are you running?
