Still waiting for the new Chrome and Mozilla too. I just synced my PM and they still weren't available.
-
I declined the original packages I had published (but not approved), downloaded new source files from Oracle, published the new 8u45 packages and when I try to import the source files I downloaded I still get "The file that was selected does not match the name in the package..." error. Fortunately we are not deploying JRE8…

Just wanted to report that the 6.5.4 release of Notepad++ installed just fine with the Patch Manager packages. So it there was definitely an issue with the 6.5.3 release.
-
That's what I thought, thanks. Fortunately it's a very small amount of machines involved so we'll just patch them manually and then next release of Notepad++ I'll try the automated route again to see if the issue has been resolved.
-
5 days and counting. And still we wait....
-
Here's an article on how to deploy it with SCCM, you should be able to adapt it to PM. https://www.andersrodland.com/deploy-net-framework-4-6-2-with-sccm/ MS never made it available to WSUS or Microsoft Update Catalog so I guess you would have to deploy it like it's a 3rd party app.
-
Yes, we use the Enterprise standalone MSI packages and have auto-update disabled through group policy. We also deploy the PPAPI Flash MSI using PM as the internal Chrome flash update mechanism has been troublesome since around v54

I got packages for Shockwave, Flash, Acrobat and Reader this morning. But still waiting on Chrome and JRE packages. :-(
-
These were just added late this afternoon. But a sync at 4:37pm EST got me nothing again.
-
Something not working on their end. Last updates I saw were Flash player revisions on 4/14/17 and the Flash player packages on 4/13/17. No JRE 8u131 or Google Chrome v58 even though both are listed in the latest release history on the 19th and 20th.
-
Okay, my bad. Followed your Step 1 and got everything back to the way it should be. Tested both my VMs and everything works fine. Thanks Lawrence, have a great weekend!
-
Exactly, no updates in 12 days. Even if they are having issues creating a package for JRE 8u101 what about the other 4 packages I'm still waiting for?
-
I don't think MS made them available via syncing to WSUS. You have to manually import them from the Microsoft Update Catalog page using the WSUS console.
-
That did the trick, thanks David! Have a great weekend!

I still can't get these new Chrome packages to install. I'm having the same issue with 52.0.2743.116 that I did with 52.0.2743.82. It shows as applicable. The install stops quickly and then I get this. If you look at update history there's no sign that it was successful or failed. But in the windowsupdate.log file it…

I just hope we don't get hammered in March. January was unusually light and now nothing in February. Many were waiting on the SMB patch this week and it also means no Windows 10 IE/Edge Flash update until March 14th.
-
I manually download the iTunes software from Apple and then extract the Apple Application Support installers. Then I edit the packages and point them to these local copies. Then publish, approve and install without any issues.
-
I pushed 141 to my test machines with no issues, but deferred pushing it to all since 144 came out so quickly. 144 pushed fine to my test machines. Love PDQ Deploy and Inventory! And their webinars are hilarious. Gotten excellent support from them so far and even won one of their floppy coasters for one of the webinars.
-
I pushed the upgrade versions, no issues so far.
-
Worked fine for me, installed it on 8 test machines so far and shows applicable to all our other machines.
-
Still waiting on Google Chrome v59.0.3071.115.
-
SEP 12.1 and SEP 14 both have a bug in them that prevents Chrome from updating the PepperFlash sometimes. That's why I started pushing out the standalone PPAPI. SEP 14.0 MP1 is due out this month and fixes the issue. But Symantec will not be fixing the issue in SEP 12.1. See the last 2 comments in this thread from the…

Highlight which section (Choose "When any of the following" at the root to add a rule to the root) or choose another section's "When all of the following" or "When any of the following" for the section you want to add a new rule to and the "Add Rule" button should become available.

Error in Google Chrome v56.0.2924.76 MSI packages? Under the installed rule for x64 processors the Registry Key Exists rule has: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{6B7C23FA-B391-34BF-8E9D-20BD87CE2EF1} When it should be:…

We need this too, consistently having Flash update issues with Chrome since v54 was released. I know SEP causes some of the issues but have seen non-SEP related problems with it also. Guess I'll have to build my own PPAPI packages for now.
-
Still waiting for that Google Earth update. And 7-Zip 16.04 was just released.
-
Chrome has already been updated again, 53.0.2785.113 is out now.
-
They just released another new version, 53.0.2785.101 and the MSI correctly points to that release.
-
Yep, I'm waiting for the Business Enterprise .MSI versions too.
