Thanks, but I have done all that. Followed the guide and configured everything As it stands this module to us is useless.
-
Thank you, I followed the option of having the load balancer ip as a node and it has imported the Call Manager. I get bugger all data though, just registered phones...thats it
-
Avaya Aura System Manager 6.3, sorry I thought I had included this..
-
Thanks Jan, We are not currently using the SDK , but should the above not work I will take a look at getting the SDK installed.
-
silverbacksays I unfortunately don't have that option available within the search bar.. It might be because presently we are not using NPM, this will change next week so I might have to wait until then to run this.
-
You could try re-installing the information service too Are you up to date with Hot Fixes?
-
HolyGuacamole this is amazing information, thank you! No matter where I looked I couldn't find it! I have even logged a support ticket to clarify the situation. Ill have a nosey through the online guides so I can provide the IT Security team with the relevant requirements.

Looks like Microshite are deprecating the SNMP service from Server 2012 onwards. So, looks like I will have to have a play with that article and sort a restricted WMI admin account.
-
Thanks asisit I did have a read of that but wasn't entirely sure it was the best solution for us. Didn't fancy doing that on all the servers. I then read further, using SNMP certainly makes more sense AND it uses up to 5 times less resources than WMI. In respect of your PEN test, yes, that is very odd!
-
I did expect that to be the answer. DANG! Is there a SolarWinds rep that can confirm the above and if there are any efforts to remediate. As an aside, would my suggestion work wluther
-
SNMP is disabled on servers in our environment
-
HI Michael, yes all that is fine. I have opened all the ports on the FW for the agent but no change. The Agent is installed so I don't understand really? I have tried running the Agent service as both Local System (default) and as a Domain Admin account. No difference.
-
Thanks silverbacksays It was more of an additional scan method really. I am using the tried and tested - go find anything scan but thought it may be an option for known devices. Not to worry.
-
Thanks Dan, I have literally just saved the query with the below and noticed your response as I was posting. Looks the same, or am I missing a key aspect? Thank you. Select Caption, NodeID, n.CustomProperties.Environment FROM Orion.nodes as N INNER JOIN Orion.ContainerMemberSnapshots cms on cms.EntityID = n.NodeID Where…

Yep, I had to do that give it a try

I do believe they have fixed this in the Beta of SAM 6.3, but there is no news on release date, I have asked many times
-
How does that help my situation? Other than list everything that I have just discussed by date format....when I look every day... Unless I am missing something, in which case please expand

The phrase - "Can't see the wood for the trees" comes to mind. Thank you!
-
I am fairly sure that the original Alert Manager can still be found as an installed application on your Core Server.
-
Thanks, it is a consideration though, my only issue is how complicated it can get with shared services and the like.... With groups it does feel much simpler...
-
mesverrum it was indeed the SwisUriSystemIdentifier I had changed it but it didnt take effect on emails until today, thanks for your help.

Hi, I have been discussing this with the IT Security Team, please see their responses as below 1 - I’ve looked and see no events on the lem when we clear the event log 2 - We are not sure what you mean.. 3 - 4 - So we need to look at the registry and not the log files? 5 - We can’t rely on the AV tell us that it’s been…

That is a good point, it could just be load on the server. There is no error as such it just displays a frame and a red 'x' I do have the license for the separate webserver so will hurry up and get that installed too! Thanks

Using IE 11, but is the same on others Orion Platform 2015.1.2, NCM 7.4, IPAM 4.3, IVIM 2.1.0, OFSMM 6.6.5, UDT 3.2.2, VNQM 4.2.2, DPA 10.0.0, NPM 11.5.2, QoE 2.0, SAM 6.2.2, NTA 4.1.1, Toolset 11.0.1 What more do you need?

Thanks but I disagree. Whilst the ITSM would be responsible for such an action, the monitoring solution should know that there has been multiple instances of the trigger condition and therefore alert on it. If for no other reason than as an escalation, perhaps to inform a 2nd level that trigger conditions are being met…

janene16 So, the SQL table says it isn't enabled....Returns a 0 IIS is using only HTTPS and Port 443.
-
May be a little late now, but how did you manage to do the Custom Property based on the Group Membership? mlandman
-
Thanks, unfortunately that has had no effect.
-
My ticket is in with support. I will let you know once I hear anything. If the answer is, this is by design, they may be able to help me to write something more useful to me in SQL.

It doesn't matter if it is sonar network discovery or manually adding the nodes. It gives no resources despite it previously working ok
