I selected a manual entry system. After that we have QR codes that get printed and attached to assets that we can scan with an App to get access to the device info in the system.

We use NexGen as a way to create work orders and track issues, fixes, and inventory. Also there is a customizable element to NexGen and you can work with the people at NexGen and tailor the program to the needs of your company.

We have a number of "branches" that work with different customers. Each customers wants their own "system" so we have to base our IT/ITS/Maintenance off that.

I really don't know what AI could do for troubleshooting. I think troubleshooting should be done by a live person because problems can be out of the box and not so systematic that goes exactly by the book.
