Many thanks. I've not used it in production. I know better now

I've been so busy, i missed the last two questions. it COULD have been a straight month of ticks, but not without me attempting all the questions. Bah!
-
Q6. Careful.. Read both all the question and all the answers before selecting

London SWUG is great! Can't wait to meet friends & other geeks & the Head Geeks again.

but the UK's National Health Service is only for people, they absolutely refuse to work on my car.
-
great article. thanks

Totally agree. More than X% is always a good start, but a change in the trend angle is often the only way to catch a change in behaviour before it hurts.

Now - Rum, that's where it's at. Warming & thick. Perfect for the winter.

"But I saved it on the L drive. You're in IT, just look at the L: drive - it's right there!"

Wow. I really didn't expect that. Thank you so much. And a Happy Christmas to all.

I think there's probably some holiday some where every day of the year. I visited Sri Lanka recently & they have loads of public holidays every month.

Well done guys philtreid & ChrystalT

Has anyone had a bash at shortcut #3 ? I get errors all over, but then perhaps I'm missing something other than just my marbles.
-
But Q19. I have no idea how or why i got a red cross. :( Can anyone explain please.
-
Wow, this looks so much better & Feb is only just around the corner now.

I must be doing the mission too early in the morning. The grand prize has only just dawned on me. Very cool and just what the doctor ordered .
-
absolutely - read carefully.

It's a hard question. No, that's not right. it's a too rigid set of answers. When you run most of the Orion modules and options & have already built a load of automation, I see it as an evolution of Orion, but not for today and there's no option for that.

I left Q16 to the very last day. I just could not make up my mind. Then I noticed the one word that had been added to the Q. In my mind I was still reading the original Q, but now it makes sense. All green. Woo Hooo. Now all I need is to submit the delivery address for my new 34" screen.
-
Q18 - 29 Jan Be careful - VERY careful, Read & read again & then re-read ALL the words. Perhaps then you won't get a red X like I did. Good luck to the remaining "All Green" troop.
-
Great idea. Then we can count the users that use more accurately to justify the next AWS purchase.

I haven't played computer games for ages; it feels too much like work, but I do remember playing Paperboy, Duke Nukem, and MS's Flight Simulator on early PCs, as well as a text-only space exploration game on a mainframe.

Nice post And I always make a point of making sure that the alert trigger time is in the alert mail. I got fed up with mail engineers complaining that their mail system didn't deliver Orion's alert mail to them in a timely way when mail was the culprit. Now we have the alert trigger time and the email transit times.

I'm trying so hard NOT to imagine you with your socks off & all hands and feet on your desk

It's all so nieve. You can outsource it, you can cloud it, you can use an SLA to blame someone else, but it's YOUR business that suffering, it's your job that's at risk and it will always stay as being YOUR responsibility. I really don't understand why the c-list folk can't see that when it's so obvious to us simple…
-
Great article & so true.
-
The bosses always have the right to move to the cloud, but when they say that they are outsourcing and it's now the provider's responsibility, it make my blood boil. You can outsource the work effort, but never the responsibility. Keep the ISP clean & honest with NPN & NTA, but keep the cloud provider clean & honest with…

Too often it's true. Illogical, but true.

1st week was pants, but second week was better. I must be finally learning to read the question properly.
