If you are asking if we have tech support, yes we do. I have opened a case just this afternoon with solar winds in hopes we can figure something out.

If you suspect a Database server connections have you checked the configuration there? not sure where to check for this. e.g. are you limiting the number of concurrent connections? I don't think so. Are there other processes/queries running on it? on the database server???? not sure on that log file. *** Assembly…

Ok so once I find them in the working environment do I just go to the same location on the "non-working" environment and add it or something?
-
this backbone router doesn't like that command. it will do a show memory but that is all Physical Memory: 12288M total (8184M available) Application Memory : 11812M (8184M available) Image: 90M (bootram: 90M) Reserved: 320M, IOMem: 0, flashfsys: 0 Shared window soasync-app-1: 450K (that is just part of the list)

cool. It works. Is there a way to extract this information into an excel spreadsheet?
-
I can get it to work on the node details page but the user doesn't want to have to scroll over to the right for all the data. Would I have to try and shorten the label when creating the poller? Do you know of a way to shorten the labels also how can I get just this table on a view by itself with all the nodes listed?
-
Well guess I can't turn it off then...Just seemed to spike a bit higher since 11.5.3 upgrade this past weekend. Thank you for all the information.
-
I am running the diags now. I will be calling support in about an hour, so I can get someone on this ASAP. As it looks like the polling might not have been working on this specific device since 9/11/16 but I have not had any complaints from anyone about information not showing up.

I have another script that is failing as well. Set WshShell = CreateObject("Wscript.Shell") Set WshSysEnv = WshShell.Environment("PROCESS") Set objArgs = WScript.Arguments x = WshSysEnv("CLASSPATH") if InStr (x, "wlfullclient") = 0 then WshSysEnv("CLASSPATH") = "./;C:\temp\wlfullclient.jar;C:\temp" & x End If…

i fixed it. Where it says local host below I had localhost IN A on that line.
-
I don't have access to that. Although the person who wanted the interfaces added to the device verified Bbr01gnvlsc SNMP and SNMP ACL config both match the other backbone routers exactly.
-
the discovery failed and says to check the logs. I did a list resources and still not showing all the resources associated with this device.
-
Yes, it passes SNMP testing.
-
I was finally able to figure this out. It had to be Custom Node Poller and once I was able to get through the template to simulate the proper nodes and interfaces showed up. Not sure why this one stumped me so much but I am glad I figured it out.

There was some setting on our side that another co-worker changed and it worked. I don’t have the details, as he didn’t provide the details to me. I had to modify the sql on one line: FROM [SolarWindsOrion].[dbo].[SEUM_Transactions] I took [SolarWindsOrion]. out and I got 2 results - which is what I expected The frequency is set to 300 on both so where [Name] is I believe I have to put in the full name or partial like [HPNA from 941%] because the other entry starts…
-
I don't follow how you got to the transactions summary, I logged into the Orion Server to get the screen shot from WPM.

Hello Everyone, I have been asked to find out if NPM 11.5.3 supports IPV6, I have not found the exact answer so can someone answer now if NPM 11.5.3 supports IPV6? If not does Version 12 support IPV6?

Which is strange why all of sudden it stopped running. I have tried to restart SW Job Engine 2 via task manager and via services. I even rebooted the polling engine with no change. Appreciate the information in trying to help with this. I have disabled the monitor for now, will see if I get any reports of issues.

Please Escalate this as it has a large impact on our monitoring. Rebecca Murphy | Systems Engineer I | MISM| Service Delivery Systems - OSS/NMS | 314-543-5625 (O) | 314-452-4968 (C) 12405 Powerscourt Drive, St. Louis, MO 63131

I actually had to click on the graph/chart and have it open in another page but found the resource ID like you said in the URL. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
-
Thank you. This was in a post from a Question I posted and I ran the query and go the results I wanted and needed for management.
-
I am not going to stress it. We are moving away from Solar winds to another monitoring platform (Not my idea). Thank you everyone for all the comments/help. At least I am good with saying it can't be done within Solar Winds.
-
DB name isn't different I was running in management studio. We had to move devices to the 4 APs that we were trying to not use to stop all the slowness everyone was experiencing. I am going to try and run that in report writer just so I know. Thank You.

I am showing jre6 and jre8 folders. Should I try to change that to jre8 and see if that fixes it?
-
So if I understand you correctly, this needs to be a view on its own for all the devices they want to see on the CBQoS Policy Details chart.
-
Well that didn't help me at all. What I did find in researching this is it only does this on a certain type of template (Custom table Poller current Status). It fails to load any nodes/interfaces etc but on other templates like, Custom SQL Alert - Advanced, Custom Node Poller, Interface those work to give a list to choose…

Spoke with Solar winds this morning. While trying to duplicate the problem it was working. Spoke with a co-worker and he deleted 30 gig of files not needed. He deleted logs from 2015 from IPSLAM and logs up to about 7/1/16 from HardwareHealth in this location: \ProgramData\Solarwinds\Logs Solar winds rep looked a few other…
