  •  The new traffic is still call coming in as unmonitored. I haven't seen anything show up that uses the "Port-XXXX" naming in fact.

  • I ran the script and it appears to have updated the list of ports available for netflow to report on, but I'm still seeing a vast majority of traffic labeled as unmonitored. I tried restarting both the netflow and the NNM services to no avail. Any ideas on what I'm missing?

  • Your best bet is going to be to set up some sort of external monitor of the solarwinds server, there isn't really a reliable way for the server itself to tell you it just lost power and/or communication with the rest of the world. In theory it would be a nice service for the Solarwinds company to offer/perform for its…

  • I'm told they will be adding a feature to the upcoming release that will let you pick specifically which interfaces you want to accept data from on the netflow engine. Until then, I think the #11 refers to the IFindex value. You can pull this with an snmpwalker. Paul

  • I've been using pingplotter pro for a while and I really like it for the historical information it provides for traceroute data to the international VPNs I manage. I wish solarwinds would incorporate something like this in their product, because I'd rather not have to have a second tool for something so simple. Paul
