You can avoid using SSH v1 completely in Allowed Protocols section by switching in drop down from using Both protocols to just SSH v2. Peter

Helmi, yes, and crashing occures probably due to high number of ports to be displayed in the left pane. Try different grouping (per node) in order to minimize the number of items to be loaed at once in a browser. Peter

Hi Masashi, I'm not sure I understand the question with the print-screen. Can you please be more specific or prefer a quick call? Peter
-
OK, in such case, I would recommend openinig a tech. support ticket.

Alabama - isn't it possible that you are missing some commands on these IOS 15.0 devices ? We haven't received any other complaints about this functionality, so I guess incomplete snmp configuration could be the issue...

Hi Mez, unfortunatelly we are unable to fetch the discovery fix into the 3.2 which is already in RC phase. The rollback is possible but it will require assistance from a support, so it's actually good you have raised a ticket.. Peter
-
Which tool exactly you used for this verification? I can see they have free trial and also couple of free tools so maybe I can try to test my VM with only the SCP installed to see if getting the same results. Thanks Peter
-
Ok, that's weird. Could you please open a support ticket so can be investigated properly by the dev team? Peter
-
No impact on production and for the true usage stats its best if you add all ports (so operationally down too, in case they go up again etc). Peter

Hello, engineering checked with the lab device and the result is negative - toolset doesn't support the sflow. I apologize for the confusion created by the description on the product pages and thank you very much for catching that, as it needs to be fixed. Peter
-
Team is setting up a lab device to test this out. Please stay tuned. Peter
-
No, web part will be included in the ETS for free Peter
-
Daniel, can we please have a short how-you-use-it meeting on this topic? I would like to learn more about your use case and the problem you are trying to solve.. If interested, please reply to peter.ksenzsigh@solarwinds.com Thanks! Peter
-
OK, I've forwarded your inputs to our DEV team so they can take a look... Thanks for pointing out this one ! Peter
-
Hi Mark, thats somehow unexpected as we didn't make any changes to this piece of a code and yet you are experiencing different results as other users. Could you please therefore create a support ticket so it can be investigated properly? The root cause could very easily be something else... Thanks Peter

John, don't remove these physical ports completely from UDT, just mark them as Unmonitored please. Peter
-
Jay, development team was requested to investigate this issue (based also on your escalate). Please stay tuned. Thanks Peter
-
Stephen, UDT 3.2.1 RC should be now available for download at your Customer Portal. Peter
-
Hi Stephen, I asked the Release management team to take a look at your portal. Will let you know once provisioned. Regards Peter
-
Got it, thank you Jason! Peter
-
Did you restart the services and it didn't help?
-
Very well, thanks! Peter
-
Jay, this should resolve your problem: Run Account Limitation Builder and create new limitation based on the custom property (I assume there is one already but you need to select type “Check boxes”) Then, in Edit Account, Add Limitation, select your new limitation and select multiple departments/locations/whatever This way…

Hi Jay, I asked around to see if we can filter out alerts somehow and was informed that filtering based on category is on our feature wish-list. One workaround though would be to create customer table query with the list of active server-related alerts... Investigating the shared-view question, will keep you updated. Peter

Hi William, We are currently in a phase of planning next release where an update to the latest snmp encryption standards is going to be high on a list of prioritized features for many tools. There will be a "what we are working on" blog comming out soon where you will be informed more about the specific tools. Peter
-
Yes kurtrh, our product engineering team is working on this fix as highest priority at the moment. automag928 - no harm done, no worries and thank you very much for your help with this fix! Peter
-
Mharvey is right - Toolset Sonar doesn't support these devce types. Orion Sonar should be helpful for this. Peter
-
Hi Jamie, while I can't share with you details on when exactly we are about to do the release, due to strict No-commitment policy here at SWI, I can tell you that pictures in following article: What we are working after User Device Tracker 3.2 , are the actual screen shots from taken from a our machine and not just some…

The planned updates will include both of the suggested changes - selecting from existing ports and discovering all of the remaining ports as well... Peter

Yes, you can share credentials but it has some downsides - eg. user A runs interface monitor and user B tries to login using the same credentials. User B is notified that somebody else is using toolset and provided ability to kill session opened by user A. If session-release is confirmed by B, user A will get his tools…
