Hi Frank, does the issue persist even on 3.2.2 please? There is a DB maintenance scheduled weekly by default (which you can change in global settings) however it shouldn't stop any services so its definitelly not expected behaviour. Thanks Peter

Good point Kurt - considering a recent leaks of personal data from federals because of missing 2 factor auth. this tech will most likely become a must-have soon.

Hi Deltona, thanks to you (and few more customers reporting this) we have this bug-fix on our roadmap with increased priority, now waiting for Dev. estimation so we know if can be put into vNext or not. I will keep you updated. Peter
-
If you install Toolset on the Web on your main server, you can monitor devices managed by APEs too.
-
Hi Edwin, thanks for bringing this up. I will check wthats going on and will let you know. Peter
-
That's why we created 2 license keys for 2 installers - so you can actually use Desktop Toolset on laptops and still cumulate seats on the Orion side.
-
Hi Kevin, as team was unable to replicate the issue in--house, could you please create a support ticket? Thanks Peter
-
Kevin, our Dev team is looking at this now and will contact you to proceed with investigation. Thanks for reporting the issue! Peter

In case your cookies will be deleted during the monitoring - the tool will remain running. However opening a new tool under the same user after wipe out won't work as the server remembers old cookies. You will be notified by the message that you should close other browsers in use and there will be also "release my session"…

Hi Edwin, was the installation without any problem? If so, could you please share your feedback on this new flow of adding devices to UDT in the port management page? Thanks Peter
-
Hi Thor, as you pointed on these soon enough we were able to fix both of the issues. Did you upgrade to 3.2.1 RC please? Peter
-
Hi Byrona, please keep in mind that one size shoe doesn't fit all. So not all SAM/NPM customers have a need of Toolset as well as we have many Toolset customers not owning any other SWI product. That said, I agree that Toolset is in bit more difficult position than other SWI products because many of them actually grew up…
-
Thanks for pointing out, I will have this device support checked internally. Peter
-
Hi Andy, thanks for the update. We are aware of this issue and it will be addressed soon with the newer version of Core used in both NPM and UDT. Peter
-
Jeff, I've updated the blog a bit to be more specific in regards to your licensing concerns and I hope it's clearer now. Summed up: you can activate more Toolset on the Web keys (using license manager) on a same machine to provide access to respective number of users. Once seats are activated, Admin has to assign these to…

Jon, our plan is to redesign whitelisting with condition builder so you could create criteria as following: ANY MAC, from ANY vendor AND with certain IP from certain range can be whitelisted. or certain MAC with ANY IP ... Would you like to discuss your use cases in more details, feel free to suggest a meeting and I will…

Not in a form of a native app, however the mobile view of Toolset on the Web is android friendly. Peter
-
HI Leny, Not yet, only that we would like to take a small step towards thhe usability of the whitelisting in a vNext by adding ability to exclude certain SSIDs from rogue monitoring (so guests wouldn't ruin your alerts anymore ) Peter
-
We are updating docs to reflect this, thanks for pointing out!
-
You should be able to see RC keys created in your Customer portal for both Web and Desktop Toolset. This is a new change so it wasn't marketed by our Sales yet... If you can't see it there, please send me a private message (or email) with your SWID and I will double check it for you... Peter
-
Great feedback, thank you Edwin! Team looked at the errors you mentioned earlier and its nothing serious neither. They will appear in a log again only when services are restarted. Peter
-
Edwin, Ron, the information about one newer build to come is correct as we decided to include couple of more fixes in this release related to alerting. Please stay tuned, there will be news soon. Thanks for understanding Peter
-
Byrona, May I please ask how big is the environment/network you manage and how many engineer's you have in your organization who would need access to the troubleshooting tools? Thanks
-
Thanks Kurt! How about the "ports in use piechart" - does this works well for you now?
-
Hi Marcus, so just to confirm - your additional poller download wasn't listed on the customer portal under additional pollers section? Peter
-
Hi Kurt, not in the Service Release, as those are not meant for new features but bug-fixing only. That said, this feature has highest number of votes now so it's also our highest priority for a future major release. As soon as this SR goes out, there will be another WWWO article posted informing you on features we will be…

Without cookies enabled, you won't be able to use the Toolset on the Web. Peter
-
Hi Ahmed, there are 2 installers in the file you can download - one for Desktop Toolset and one for Toolset on the Web. If you own some other Orion based products like NCM, UDT, IPAM, NPM, you may want to install Toolset on the Web on the same server to get real-time monitors and tracert from the web console directly. Does…

Hi Lance, thanks for a feedback! Did you please try also the new flow of adding existing NCM/NPM nodes to UDT from Port management pages? Peter
-
OK, now i understand! Yes, you can share the details like that Have a nice day Peter
