I can confirm as I had this too, that this was fixed in WHD 12.7.4.85 so best to upgrade... ;-)

If they are a know make and models, go to asset settings (under asset types), find the make and model, then change the type to what you want e.g. laptop. Assets will automatically change to laptop type when you search them.

use the 'shift key' when clicking the tick box to include all pages for your search results, then apply the bulk action against them. The tick icon will be blue instead of grey.

Have you increased the timeout in Setup - General - Authentication Settings - Increase the value "Client Session Timeout (min)"

This can be done is the DB, by setting the isdeleted to 1 for all Locations that your don't want anymore.

If you go to setup, Locations & Departments, you can edit the Location name, it will then change in assets, tickets, clients etc throughout the WHD with no side effects..

A Query is your option then.

Are the admins in both Levels? They will need to be if they want to see those tickets in the Group Tickets view, else they will need to search for them or define a query to find them.

Check you haven't places those admins in any Tech Permissions, as this can be screw-up your admins...

We copied our Production server and DB, and setup a development platform, we purchased some development licenses from SW, then make all the testing/upgrades/development on the development platform and then copy these changes to production when we are ready. We also use VMs so snap shots can be make.

For any ticket within any ticket, goto the client tab then unassigned client, then find the new reporter, click on their name then click save

The Demo site is now running 12_7_4_85-HF1, but the fix for "Page preview in Setup > General > Look & Feel is inoperative" is still broken, as it shows the source code of the website rather than a preview of the site itself. Have you cleared the Query and Filter for the the Group Tickets view? Do you have other tech permissions such as : Limit to Assigned Tech Groups Limit by Location Group Limit by Department Group

You can use <report> tag in the body of the template which will give you the ticket details.

You'll have to look at CSS folder on your server, there might be a value to manually change. A WHD App restart might be required too.

Reporting on time is a big issue within the WHD, ideally there needs to be a background process running in the application that manages time and progress of ticket (i had previous discuss this with a previous SW employee, who has now left), the reason I say a background, as ticket fields and information are only updated…

Have you checked your server firewall to your workstation? Also, try connecting from a command prompt on your WHD application server to see you can connect correctly.

Have you tried adding certificate via Portecles? Working with Keys and Certificates (solarwinds.com) Import a self signed or wildcard certificate in PFX format to Web Help Desk using Portecle (solarwinds.com) Best open a support call with SW if still no joy.....

I believe that it's not mandatory, but worth considering as Web Help Desk 12.7.4 is signed with a new digital code-signing certificate.

Err Sorry - nope that's still an issue in 12.7.4.85, if you open a ticket, then go to the attached Asset, then try to edit the location of an asset. you get the following error: Best contact SW and make a support call with this one...
