We also have seen this issue on OSX, and it is logged with Support and is being investigated. If I hear anything I'll let you know.

So your Database MySQL machine in Linux, WHD will need the JDBC connector installed from the Oracle Dev Web site see Page 313 of the Admin Guide https://support.solarwinds.com/Success_Center/Web_Help_Desk_(WHD)/WHD_Getting_Started_Guide/020_Installation/020_Prepare_the_Microsoft_SQL_Server_database For MS-SQL you will need…

Or you could have selected all clients on all pages of 100 by selecting with a SHIFT click and the Tick goes green rather than blue, useful on Ticket list as well!
-
Setup -> General > Database will tell you where your DB is.
-
Use the Portecle Tool (within your WHD program folder) to access your keystore (keystore.jks file) and check the details within that. Example of it's procedure (although from a CA reply by Go Daddy) can be found here Install new SSL certificates with GoDaddy - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support

There is HotFix 2 now which addresses a number of FAQ issues
-
Hi chiefs6770, For outbound E-Mails it will not retry to send these unless you do a Save & Print again on the Tickets so you do not have to worry.

Nor me

OR functionality gets my vote!

Any news on the SEM6.7.1 release to fix the memory issue?

What type of Ticket custom field, Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Text, Pop-Up, a screen print would be useful.

Hi Craig, I would be interested to know how you achieved this or whether you could give some insite on the alignment of option sin WHD to Azure AD SSO. Thanks in advance
-
Seems to work for me but I had to come out of Ticket then back in again within Client UI

This is a problem with Chrome I think

MacBooks an iPads in schools, no Mac Server infrastructure I'm afraid.

I have not seen this, I assume you have submitted debug logs to support?

Hi typhoon87 We are running HotFix 1 and this is specfic to Client Admins. Cliejt Admins had additionaly search critera of "contains" and "surname" which no longer appear. Additionally the list of historical Tickets for that Location the Admin is looking after had a column for Client so you could see whom the Client was…

On the G-Mail Account, you will have to set it to allow less secure connections otherwise the G-Mail infrastructure might block it as spam after it polls the mailbox a few times.

All PostgreSQL settings remain the same, just make sure it continues with backups if you are using that option in Setup > General > Database For exchange cert issues, see https://support.solarwinds.com/Success_Center/Web_Help_Desk_(WHD)/Web_Help_Desk_stops_collecting_email_after_an_SSL_Certificate_update

Hi Astugatch, Was the placing on the JDBC driver within /usr/local/webhelpdesk/bin/webapps/helpdesk/WEB-INF/lib/ in addition to the location defined with the documentation or instead? Thanks
-
I think the "High asset volume performance issues are resolved" was something we raised, it was to do with Client UI Asset search where a Client is linked to 100,000+ Assets, it was taking 15 mins to bring back results.

Just tested on my system and works Ok for me but I'm running 12.2-HF2
-
Be advised that WHD does not support Office365 (nor Exchange 2016) currently so you are running against an unsupported configuration anyhow. Try with a free G-Mail or Outlook address first to validate your processes. As a rule of thumb, shared mailboxes are not a good idea anyhow as the mail read flags might be confusing…
-
It has been hardcoded since WHD12.2.0, it cannot be switched off
-
Support found me a KB on this on what needs to be done, thanks.

Hi Silverbacksays, I confirm 7.0.78 works fine with WHD12.5.0 from our testing. Regards
