Hi Peter, I did a quick test on my test rig with a new "whd2" MS-SQL database and I used the following connection details Hope this helps
-
If you are still using WHD12.3.0 then this does not support Office365, you will have to connect via IMAP or POP. Outbound on SMTP will be port 25 or 587 whereas IMAP will be on port 993 POP3 on port 995.

Happy New Year! Any news about the Mobile App, did engineering review the logs I submitted directly to you and if so do they have any conclusions? Thanks
-
Hi Brandon, I sent you another PM about the Android App, did you see it? Thanks
-
I would think so, have you logged a support Ticket?
-
Yes, updated Release Notes would be most useful
-
This is still true http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/WebHelpDesk/docs/WHDSSL.pdf?CMPSource=THW&CMP=DIRECT Check within MMC that you have the full chain and then export the full chain
-
I agree, this is a major change away from any other new Detail being added to Tickets. What is the point of the Save Button then at the bottom, anyone know?
-
Did the resolve this for you?
-
I assume you have send HealthCheck Reports to support? My only thinking is that WHD is checking the gen3 license which might have included registry entries, depending on which node the request processes this, it may be the local node which might not have the same registry entries required to check whether this is a demo…

They was a bug in 12.4.2 where it did not appear when using a bulk action which has been fixed in 12.5
-
Did you get anywhere with this, I could not see any new settings to control this MFA?
-
Good stuff, what E-Mail issue, I may be able to help with that as well?
-
Hi bshopp, I did send you some logs from one of our beta testers who was having an issue during login but I never got anything back, do you want me to PM your directly again? Thanks
-
As 12.2 is now Final Release - do we have an updated WWWO for 12.3?
-
If it does not "Test" Ok whilst Ticking Create database and user account if necessary - then likely to be TCP enabled has not ben set in MS-SQL Configuration Manager, not sure if you get a GUI version in Express
-
Hi Jonathan, The cert with alias will be used and should contain the root, any intermediates plus the actual cert you want to use in the chain. If you use Portecle does is show a minimum of 3 entries?
-
No problem, enjoy!
-
https://thwack.solarwinds.com/people/jfrenaye Do you use http or https I assume you do not mean IIS, WHD uses Apache Tomcat and IIS should be removed or deactivated ideally. Do you have a TMG installed?
-
Already have a case logged and SW Support say they are aware
-
GA up on Portal now?
-
The workaround has nothing to do with PostgreSQL based database systems, it only applies to MySQL. Any PostgreSQL based WHD will not have this upgrade issue.
-
Can you confirm how you are copying the PostgreSQL database across, using the psql tools? Does it work without using updated config files (to excluded https & memory settings) on the Server?
-
Yes forget that option but for most of out sites they do not use Companies, thanks all for your input.
-
Still seems to be an issue on WHD12.7.1 with HF1, did you get an answer from Support?
-
Make sure your Techs don't change the Request Type to one which does not have an Approval Process to try and stop it, this brings issues if it is half way through the Approval stage!
-
All Ticket Info will be in the DB (whichever DB type you use), it is just some environmental settings which are in the <webhelpdesk>/conf folder, another consideration is whether the DB is on the same server as the WHD App?
-
If they arrive via E-Mail to the default Request Type specified in the Inbound Mailbox and they have viability of that within their Tech Group then they will see them.
-
Hi Brandon, How are things going with the WHD Mobile App, can we expect a new Beta soon? Thanks
-
Log this with support, it sounds like a corrupt GlobalID which might need some data correction.
